Accessibility statement

FixSA Voice is designed so reporting does not depend on speech, perfect hearing, fine pointer control, or colour perception.

What we support

• Keyboard access and a visible focus indicator for interactive controls.
• A manual text alternative when microphone permission, hardware, network, or browser support is unavailable.
• Live transcript text and labelled voice state changes.
• Semantic headings, forms, tables, timelines, buttons, and navigation landmarks.
• Minimum 44-pixel touch targets on mobile.
• Colour contrast designed for AA and labels that do not rely on colour alone.
• Reduced animation for users who prefer reduced motion.
• An equivalent list for interactive map content.

Known limits

Voice transcription accuracy can vary by accent, device, noise, bandwidth, and speech pattern. English is the only language exposed in this version. Map tiles are visual, but core incident content is also available as text.
